What can I use to clean tile?
Don't use ammonia. It will discolor grout. Use a non oil-based household cleanser to wipe glazed wall tiles periodically. You can also vacuum glazed floor tiles to remove dirt and other gritty particles; then damp mop with an all-purpose, non oil-based cleaner. Clean unglazed wall and floor tiles in the same way, or using a mixture of water and soapless detergent instead of an all-purpose cleaner.
What can I use to clean my grout?
To deep clean use a concentrated tile and grout cleaner. It is mixed with water. Mop and rinse your floor. Cleaners are also available premixed in spray form, or wipe and clean mixtures. You need to be sure to use products specifically designed for grout and tile cleaning. Other chemicals can bleach or even stain the grout.
